New policy for Reader Comments on LNA
Jan. 1, 2026, © Leeham News: We have implemented a change for accepting Reader Comments. Due to a small group of readers who consistently fail to observe Reader Comment Rules, despite warnings and in some cases suspensions, all Comments are held for moderator review before publication. Any violations in the Reader Comment rules found during moderation may result in editing before publication or rejection of the comment.
Publication of Comments will be delayed, pending how quickly the review is accomplished and the time zones of the commenter.

AIN, LNA to share select stories

July 18, 2025, (c) Leeham News: Now that AIN Media Group has completed the acquisition of Leeham News, I can tell our readers that we will begin to expand coverage at both outlets.
AINonline and LNA will share “previews” of select stories each outlet publishes, with links to the relevant site for the full story. There’s no “schedule” for doing so; the shares will be based on assessing the relevance to our respective readership.
We anticipate further resource-sharing going forward, which will be announced at the time we’re ready to launch these.
For now, here are some recent examples of AIN stories that we will pick up from AINOnline:
AIN Media Group completes the purchase of Leeham News & Analysis
July 17, 2025, © Leeham News: AIN Media Group today completed the purchase of Leeham News & Analysis.
The acquisition was announced June 17 during the Paris Air Show.
AIN is a 50-year old privately held media company. It’s best known for covering business and corporate aviation and the future flight sector. LNA focuses on commercial aviation, specializing in airframe and engine Original Equipment Manufacturers, the supply chain and future flight concepts in commercial aviation.
Complementary news coverage strengthens both and brings resources to LNA to broaden its coverage. LNA’s experienced editors, analysts and writers remain in place and the focus of its coverage remains unchanged.

Pontifications: A Personal Note

June 19, 2025, © Leeham News, Paris: The big news for LNA at this Paris Air Show this week had nothing to do with aerospace companies.
On Tuesday, it was jointly announced by AIN Media Group and Leeham Co LLC, parent of LNA, that AIN is acquiring LNA. We expect the transaction to close next month, awaiting documentation from the lawyers.
Leeham Co LLC and its other business, Leeham Consulting, remains with my partner, Bjorn Fehrm and me. We also remain with LNA. For the first time since 1989, I will report to a boss.
Talk about a mental adjustment.

We will begin the New Year with a series of Outlook articles, looking ahead for 2024. This was a regular feature until the COVID pandemic pretty well destroyed any outlooks for the two years of lockdown. This year (2023) began on the tail end of the pandemic recovery. Now, with the global economy largely back to normal, we resume our Outlook series.
We’ll take a look at the airframe and engine OEMs and the ecoaviation sector.

Personnel changes for LNA announced
Oct. 9, 2023, © Leeham News: Leeham News announces several personnel changes today.
Bryan Corliss, who has been a Contributor to LNA for years, is leaving to become a corporate communication specialist with The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA). SPEEA is the engineers and technicians union for Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems. LNA is sorry to lose Corliss’ depth of aerospace and labor knowledge. Corliss’ email with LNA will be active for a month so readers may connect with him.
